Raymond - The name evokes imagery of four values thghtly woven into cohesive whole - trust, excellence. quality and leadership. Raymond stands for good looks but it's users are also seen as good people, senstive and caring who place a huge permium on relationship.

strepsils A horizontal swoosh and lozenge with an "S" conjures up a unmistakeble image this is the result of a consistant reinforcement of the brand and the pursuit of single unwavering objective.

Interesting or sad but HUTCH getting converted to VODAFONE is a unique story of BRAND IMAGE .

Remember its O & M who created that unique "PUG" advertisement for HUTCH The entire communication of HUTCH ... ooops ! VODAPHONE has gone down the drain.

Here's Why ! Almost one year down the line, brand HUTCH is still alive and kicking- courtesy - O & M (The agency that conceived the pug campaign ), the very ingenious pug and a little helpful over- sight by the buyer (Vodafone) itself. Because has not Vodafone decided to stick with the pug in it's new brand communication the HUTCH saga would have long ended. Vodafone campaign have ensured that while the changeover message has resonated soundly across the sub- continent, the new brand has been unable to develop a personality of its own. Brand Recall is of highest order, but in terms of imagery and perception, it remains tooooo close for comfort to brand HUTCH.

Not that Vodafone has been sitting on HUTCH's pug-faced laurels alone. During the past 10 months of its existence, Vodafone has sponsored some hi- profile events on TV shows, along with some distinctive advertising to erode the traces of HUTCH and ring in the VODAFONE connection.

Akshay Kumar will be Levi's brand ambassador for a year in India. Madison Communication's Entertainment Unit, MATES, was responsible for the pairing up of Akshay with the brand. They arrived at Akshay as the brand endorser after extensive research which found him as the perfect endorsers because of his clean image and physical fitness. Apart from this, his macho and rugged image was perceived as a good fit with the brand Levis 501. Which is brand Image of Levi's

The Levi's 501, which is the oldest product from the Levi's stable, is being relaunched globally with a new campaign called 'Live Unbuttoned'. The global relaunch is aimed at appealing to the youth to unbutton themselves, physically and mentally.

There are many firsts to this campaign. This is the first time that an Indian celebrity has been roped in to endorse the brand globally. Another first for the brand is that this ad is going to be co-produced by consumers. The brand will be launched simultaneously on a global scale using celebrities to promote it.
