SWOT Analysis is a strategic matrix used for understanding four areas that effect business and helps in taking crutial strategic discussions that make differenc to the business. Its important to understand that SWOT needs to be done with great importance.

Many times peple fail to understand weeknesses and threats.
To understand SWOT its important to have complete understanding of business and factors that are effecting its working.


S - Strenght
W- Weakness
O-Opportunity
T-Threat

One has to be sure of factors that are internal to the system and those which are external to the system.

SWOT is a great tool but it works at a macro level. It is really importantant to meke use of other tools that can help us understand the Strenghts , Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threars easily.

Sterenghts of SWOT Analysis are the core competencies of a company. Like, Market Share and / or Patent technology or product which provides an edge over the competitors.
